The idea for Stories of a Star was born from a place of deep love and remembrance. Every parent who loses a child is forever changed, carrying with them a unique story of love, dreams and memories that remain etched in their heart. Stories of a Star exists to honor those memories—offering a way for parents, friends and family to keep a part of their child close, and to share their child’s story with the world.

Stories of a Star was born from our own experience, the story of our star child, Matteo. In 2023, we discovered we were pregnant with our very first child—what wonderful news and a huge dream come true. Our desire to have a child is, and always was, enormous. But at 29 weeks, we met our little son Matteo in complete silence.
